TI. Um tópico de pesquisa interessante é a análise da importância das tecnologias de informação (TI) na competitividade organizacional. A questão é objecto de breve discussão numa nota de pesquisa do Institute for Strategic Change da Accenture. Os resultados do estudo sugerem que "while some key aspects of IT are becoming commoditized, other types of IT can still create competitive advantage. For commodity IT, executives should aim at reducing cost and minimizing risk. But prudent executives also need to learn how to identify IT-enabled business initiatives that can still deliver real value, and how to select those that align with their business strategy."
